Exhibitions Mean Business

As IAEE members, our businesses and trade shows make a significant impact on this industry, our communities and the global economy. CEIR research supports this fact. What elected officials at the local, state and federal levels do directly impacts the exhibitions and events industry, in turn impacting the communities in which we work and live.

Exhibitions Mean Business exists to represent what’s important to us all and share proof points and data with those decision makers. We must help drive that conversation.

You can make a difference: by engaging with your local communities or on the federal level, your voice matters. ˲ʲƱ www.grifftec.com Ȩ Join EMB’s efforts to help key decision makers understand how exhibitions mean business.

Your Voice Matters

Each year, Exhibitions Mean Business tracks advocacy issues and provides you with the education and tools to help drive the conversation and impact decision makers.

Exhibitions Mean Business Update – Working for You to Get Back to the Business of Live Events | July 2020

IAEE and the Exhibitions Mean Business (EMB) Campaign provided an update of initiatives surrounding COVID-19 and collaborations with other entities. Our industry is fighting to survive and many great strides have been made to obtain relief for events related businesses and legislation to spur a fast restart of live events. Panelists discussed updates on current bills in the House and Senate, proposed legislation in the works, and what specifically the EMB has engaged in to keep the momentum going.
